And it was wonderful! Kalonji and I walked around the French Quarter all day for two days straight. NO is such a wonderful city – I’m envious of all the people who do live there. I ate lots of good food and had a very relaxing time. I certainly needed it, work has been continually hectic, hence I have not been updating my blog as regularly. While we were in New Orleans, we took this this picture and I was tickled throught the whole process. I’ve never done anything like that before. Kalonji is a huge Jazz fan, so that was the idea we were going for. 🙂

But, I have done some stitching lately. B/c I have been so busy, I needed a project that would go quickly. So I started this exactly one week ago and finished it tonite. It is for my sister.

So, I hope to stitch more over the weekend, so, stay tuned for my next picture.

  1. What a great picture of you and Kalonji! I did one in old west garb ages ago, and it was a blast. You both look fantastic!!

  2. I love the picture of you and Kalonji. I agree, NO is such a fun place to visit. =) Cute piece for your sister too. 😉

  3. What a great piece!! All the sister stuff I’ve seen in cross stitch is always mushy. I’ll have to keep this in mind for my sister some day!
